We found Mark Rieger’s web-site in March of 2010. We spoke to Mark multiple times over the phone, giving him various information regarding our Real Estate needs. Even though we had not relocated to Central Oregon yet, Mark immediately started sending us listings as they became available. We appreciated his diligence, while still respecting our privacy by not constantly pestering us. We moved to Redmond in June of 2010. We promptly made contact with Mark upon our arrival. We had Real Estate in another town that we preferred to sell before purchasing here. I have always said things happen for a reason and it is true. A year before I even knew of Mark Rieger I decided to buy a home for my future retirement in Central Oregon. I found a home that was attached to another realtor, I made an offer and my nightmare began. Two month into it I walked away from the deal and felt very burned. Little did I know then that this was actually something good happening.
I shied away from looking at homes again for some time. Then months later I saw an email add from a Mark Rieger Realty and I decided it would not hurt to have him send email listings of homes for sale. He offered his help if needed and without me answering him, he continued to faithfully send me listings of houses for many months until I finally decided I was ready to begin looking for homes in this area again. After putting much thought in who I would enlist as my Realtor I decided to meet with Mark and get a feel for who he was. I immediately felt comfortable with him and could feel a deep sense of honesty and compassion. He didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, he told me what I needed to hear about the market, short sales and the difficulty of such sales. I found the home of my dreams (one of those difficult short sales, of course) made an offer and left the rest up to Mark. I never had a single day of worry or concern as Mark kept me updated almost daily as to the progress on the sale. If he thought it would be days until he heard something else he would prepare me for that as well. He did back flips for me and worked on the sale of this home as if he were buying it himself.
I definitely believe that if it had not been for Mark I would not have been successful in buying this home. Because of his dedication and hard work, I am at this moment sitting proudly and comfortably in my beautiful home in front of my computer, writing you this letter of recommendation for Mark Rieger Realty. You cannot improve on perfection and with Mark that is what you have. In this day and age it is refreshing to find someone who works hard to earn your trust and gives you 100% +.
Oh, one more thing, when the sale was done Mark was not. There was a time lapse before I could get moved to Central Oregon from my Portland home and I was worried about the house sitting unattended. Mark offered to come by and check on it on a regular basis, make sure the pipes were not freezing, until I could get moved into the house. WOW! Just like the ever ready Bunny, his excellent service just goes on and on and on!

My wife and I had a dream of retiring and moving to Redmond in Central Oregon from North western New Mexico. WE contacted MARK Rieger after talking with The Redmond Chamber of Commerce, and could not have made a better choice for our Realtor. It took 2 trips up from New Mexico to Redmond over a 6 month period, and at times it didn't seem like it was going to happen, but Mark stuck with us through all the ups and downs and helped us make our dream come true. We finally made it to our new home in Redmond on the evening of December 20th 2010 after driving 3 days in a winter storm that stretched all the way from New Mexico through Oregon.
